I would all but sell my soul for a Goldie's cheeseburger right now.
I kid you not.
If you are reading this, make it happen. Go ahead and bring me a snippet of that pickle bar too, if it's not too much trouble.

The first, awkward post.
I've been sitting here for what seems like an hour (and might have been an hour). Designing the blog was easy.. pink, brown, angora, pink ribbon and hearts- had courtney written all over it. It pretty much designed itself. :) But, for someone like me, who speaks and writes faster than my brain can think the thoughts, stumbling over a blog is something I'm not used to.
But the first post of your blog presents many issues and problems. What should it be about? This will set the tone, what do I want it to be? Should I just jump into something I would normally write about, or should I set up the blog with an introduction? Most people probably wouldn't have this type of problem, and would just write. But as a very structured perfectionist, I like to lay out a plan for everything, especially writing.
My facebook posts have a variety of issues.. from politics, to random surveys, to spiritual "awakenings", to friend and boy drama.. is it okay to use all that I use there here, or do I need to set up a "trending topic"?
Then I realized I was way overthinking it. My need for some type of structure combined with my quest to gain people's approval complicated something as simple as my blog, as it does many things. I realized it's my blog, not anyone else's.. I write for me, as an outlet. If it's serious and inspires someone to think deeper, or "less-than-serious" (I wouldn't say funny, because I don't try to be funny- if I did, I would come across as a dimwit.. apparently, according to others, I'm only funny when it's unintentional) and it makes someone laugh, that's great. But I write for me- so there doesn't need to be any kind of set outline, or any topics that are "off-limits".. Like this! This post is boring as can be, but the point is I was confused.. and as the words came out, the nearer I get to the end, the more I have figured out the lesson learned.
That is why I write, and that's a good enough "outline" for me.
